The Consecration Mantra:
OṂ namo śākyamunaye tathāgatāya arhate samyaksaṃbuddhāya!
Recite this mantra seven times, consecrate the crown of the head with your hands and touch your entire body. Thereafter, cease all thoughts, and with a focused mind, perform the contemplative practice of the Bodhisattva Prajñāpāramitā, the Mother of Buddhas.
Visualise this bodhisattva with three faces and three eyes, her body being the colour of pure gold, seated upon a lion throne of auspicious treasures, which has a golden lotus of a thousand petals. Her body has six arms; on the right side are three arms, the first holds a rosary, the second an arrow, and the third makes the wish-granting mudrā. On the left side are three arms, the first holds a sūtra, the second a bow, and the third holds a cintāmaṇi gem. These six arms are adorned in various ways. From her body, she again emits countless hundreds of thousands of nayuas of koṭis of light rays pervading all worlds. Furthermore, visualise all the tathāgatas and all the bodhisattvas, such as Tārā, who are endowed with the major and minor marks, with adorned bodies, offering to them personally with various incense and flowers.
Having contemplated in this manner, further recite the heart mantra:
OṂ namo śākyamunaye tathāgatāya arhate samyaksaṃbuddhāya, tadyathā: OṂ muni muni mahāmunaye svāhā!
Next, recite the root mantra:
tadyathā: OṂ jaye jaye padmanābhi avame avame sara saraṇi dhiri dhirirā dhiri dhirā dhiri devatānupālani buddhotāraṇi pūraya pūraya bhagavati sarvāśā mama paripūraya saparivārasya sarvasattvān ca sarvakarmāvaraṇāni viśodhaya viśodhaya buddhādhiṣṭhānena svāhā!
Having recited this mantra, perform the visualisation once more. Visualise that to the right of the Mother of Buddhas, Prajñāpāramitā Bodhisattva, are the Bhagavān Śākyamuni, the Bhagavān Dīpaṅkara, the Bhagavān Amitāyus, the Bhagavān Jñānaviniścaya, the Bhagavān Prabhāsarāja, the Bhagavān Meghasvararāja, the Bhagavān Suvarṇapadma, and the Bhagavān Puṣpavikīrṇa.
To the left of the Bodhisattva are the Bhagavān Vipaśyin, the Bhagavān Krakucchanda, the Bhagavān Kanakamuni, the Bhagavān Kāśyapa, and the Bhagavān Ratnapāṇi.
In front of the Bodhisattva are the Bhagavān Mahāvairocana, the Bhagavān Ratnasaṃbhava, the Bhagavān Amitābha, the Bhagavān Amoghasiddhi, and the Bhagavān Akṣobhya.
Behind the Bodhisattva are the Bhagavān Padmottara, the Bhagavān Ratnottara, the Bhagavān Puṇyaśrī, the Bhagavān Vaiḍūryanirbhāsa, and the Bhagavān Acintyaśrī.
In front of the Bodhisattva, there are also the bodhisattvas Āryāvalokiteśvara, Maitreya, Samantabhadra, Mañjuśrī, Praṇidhāna, Acintyaghoṣa, Vajrapāṇi, Akṣayamati, Pratibhānakūṭa, Anantapratibhāna, Ākāśagarbha, Vimalakīrti, Svatantracārin, Dharmodgata, Sadāprarudita, Candraprabha, Dharmamegha, Kṣitigarbha, Ratnagarbha, Ratnaketu, Śikhin, Gandhahasthin, and Kumbhīra. All such great bodhisattva mahāsattvas fill the entire Buddha-field. Furthermore, the Vidyārāja Bhṛkuṭī and others are also standing before the Bodhisattva.
Having visualised each member of this holy assembly, further imagine exquisite incense, flowers, and precious offerings of both the human and heavenly realms to be offered to the Mother of Buddhas, Prajñāpāramitā Bodhisattva, her retinue, and all the bodhisattvas. Having performed this visualisation, the practitioner will soon attain perfect awakening.
